ICode Global Hackathon 2025 - 9th Edition

The ICode Global Hackathon 2025 marks the 9th edition of the world’s largest K–12 coding competition, organized by the ICode Foundation. This year, the event is set to engage over 3 million students from more than 75 countries, including participants from regions such as the USA, UK, Africa, and India.

The competition is structured into multiple rounds, beginning with qualifiers from April 21 to July 15, 2024, followed by national finals on September 21, 2024. The global finals are scheduled for October 5, 2024.

In the previous edition, the global rankings featured top scorers from various countries, showcasing the diverse talent pool. For instance, the top 10 global finalists included participants from countries like the USA, India, and Singapore, with scores ranging from 271 to 155.

The hackathon emphasizes AI and gamification, providing a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate and benchmark their coding skills on an international stage. It serves as a significant opportunity for young coders to engage in stimulating coding tasks that test their computational skills and algorithmic thinking abilities.
